The fast on Saturdays are always suggested to be the best if they start the dashing from the first Saturday of the month. The Saturday's fasting colour is black and so the devotees are asked to drew up in black in the morning and they can offer dress to the poor but then it must be only in black and they will have to eat the black gram and foods that are in black . They can have only one meal per day and that too should be in the evening. This God is represented with the Saturn from the solid system and is believed that fasting on Saturday gives the mind and soul a peaceful environment. It is also believed that those who have the tensed feeling can get cured if they fast in all Saturdays.
